Odoo Project, every hour tied to margin.
Tasks, milestones and deadlines on one Gantt chart, with the revenue and cost of every project visible while the work is still running. We implement Odoo Project for consultancies, MEP contractors, facility management and IT services firms across the Gulf, connected to sales, timesheets and invoicing.
What Odoo Project does
The standard 20 Enterprise feature set we configure, train on and support.
Tasks and stages
Kanban stages per project, sub-tasks, task dependencies, recurring tasks, tags and priorities, with tasks created automatically from incoming email aliases and confirmed sales orders.
Gantt and milestones
A Gantt view with task dependencies and rescheduling of dependent tasks, milestones with deadlines and a reached status, and a calendar view of planned dates.
Project profitability
A profitability panel per project comparing invoiced and to-invoice revenue with timesheet costs, vendor bills, expenses and purchase orders, all posted to the project analytic account.
Project updates and reporting
Status updates marked on track, at risk or off track, burndown charts, task analysis and dashboards that managers read without opening each task one by one.
Customer portal and ratings
Customers follow their tasks, milestones and shared documents in the portal, can be given edit access to collaborate, and rate the service when a task changes stage.
Sales and milestone billing
Service products that create projects and tasks when a quotation is confirmed, then invoice on timesheets, a fixed price or reached milestones from the same sales order.
Configured for Kuwait, the GCC and Egypt
The local rules we set up and keep current for Odoo Project, so the system matches the regulator and the way people here work.
Why an Official Odoo Partner matters- Arabic and English portalThe customer portal, stage names, email templates and project reports run in Arabic or English with right-to-left layout, chosen by the language on each contact.
- Government client milestonesMinistries and state companies in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia usually pay against approved deliverables, so milestones are marked reached only after client sign-off and then invoiced.
- VAT and e-invoicing per countryProject invoices carry 15% VAT with ZATCA Fatoora clearance in Saudi Arabia, 5% VAT in the UAE and Oman, 10% in Bahrain, and KWD three-decimal totals in Kuwait.
- Local working weekWorking schedules per company follow the Friday and Saturday weekend in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, so allocated hours, Gantt workload and timesheet reminders match the real week.
What IT Horizon adds on top of Odoo Project
Modules and services we built from real Gulf implementations, written to Odoo guidelines so they upgrade with the platform.
ITH Hub for clients
A Next.js portal and Flutter app where your clients follow progress, see milestones and download reports, connected to Odoo Project through ITH API.
WhatsApp Business updates
Stage changes, reached milestones and project update summaries sent to the client contact on WhatsApp Business, in Arabic or English, from Odoo automation rules.
ITH Workflow
Budget changes, variation orders and project purchase requests routed through approval workflows with an authority matrix and delegation, in the style of S/4HANA Manage Workflows.
Statement of account
ITH Accounting gives each client one statement across all of their projects, with milestone invoices, payments and open balances in a format finance teams accept.
Works with
Odoo apps share one database, so Project exchanges data with these apps without connectors.
Questions, answered.
For most service, fit-out and IT projects, yes: Gantt, dependencies, milestones and resource load cover the plan. For large EPC schedules with critical path baselines, clients keep Primavera for the master schedule and use Odoo for tasks, costs and billing, which we can link.
Each project has an analytic account. Timesheet costs at the employee hourly rate, vendor bills, expenses and purchase orders land there, and the profitability panel compares them with invoiced and to-invoice revenue while the project is still open.
Yes. You share a project with portal users, who see its tasks, milestones and documents and can comment or upload files. Edit access lets them update tasks themselves. The portal runs in Arabic or English per contact.
Yes. The invoicing policy sits on the service product: fixed price, milestones, or timesheets on delivered hours. One sales order can mix them, for example a design phase billed by milestone and site supervision billed by the hour.
Yes. The Odoo mobile app and the browser on any phone give engineers their tasks, sub-tasks, photos and the timer. Uploads attach to the task, so the office sees site progress without waiting for a written report.
Run every project with the margin in view.
Tell us how you price projects and how your clients pay, and we will map the setup that fits.
