Odoo Planning, the right people on every shift.
Shifts, site rosters and project hours planned on one Gantt chart that respects contracts, time off and the local working week. We implement Odoo Planning for facility management, security, retail and services companies in the Gulf that schedule hundreds of staff across many sites.
What Odoo Planning does
The standard 20 Enterprise feature set we configure, train on and support.
Gantt shift planning
Shifts by employee, role, project or sales order on a Gantt chart, with conflicts flagged and planned hours per person compared against their working schedule.
Roles and templates
Roles such as supervisor, cleaner or guard, and shift templates with start time, duration, role and project, so a full week of shifts is built in a few clicks.
Open shifts and switching
Open shifts that qualified employees claim from their phone, and switch requests where an employee offers a shift and a colleague with the same role takes it over.
Auto plan
Auto plan fills open shifts with available employees by role, respecting their working hours, time off and shifts already planned, which managers then review and publish.
Publishing and recurrence
Recurring shifts repeat weekly or monthly, and publishing sends each employee their schedule by email, with the same schedule visible in the portal and mobile app.
Forecasts and analysis
Plan hours from sales orders and projects, then compare planned hours with timesheets and allocated hours in the planning analysis to see capacity and overruns early.
Configured for Kuwait, the GCC and Egypt
The local rules we set up and keep current for Odoo Planning, so the system matches the regulator and the way people here work.
Why an Official Odoo Partner matters- Friday and Saturday weekendsWorking schedules per company follow the Friday and Saturday weekend in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt, and Saturday and Sunday for UAE teams on that week.
- Ramadan hoursA Ramadan schedule swapped in for the month: 36 hours a week in Kuwait and for Muslim staff in Saudi Arabia, and two hours less a day in the UAE.
- Holidays on Hijri datesEid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and the Islamic new year move each year with the Hijri calendar, so we load public holidays per country every year before shifts are planned.
- Weekly hour limitsKuwait and Saudi labor law cap normal hours at 48 a week, so the Gantt flags employees planned past their schedule before overtime builds up unnoticed.
What IT Horizon adds on top of Odoo Planning
Modules and services we built from real Gulf implementations, written to Odoo guidelines so they upgrade with the platform.
ITH HR roster control
We pair Planning with ITH HR and payroll, which adds establishment and roster control, so positions, rosters and payroll inputs come from one place.
WhatsApp schedules
Published schedules, open shift offers and last-minute changes sent to employees on WhatsApp Business in Arabic or English, including staff who rarely check email.
ITH Hub employee app
Employees see their shifts, claim open shifts and request switches in the ITH Hub Flutter app, connected to Odoo Planning through ITH API.
Works with
Odoo apps share one database, so Planning exchanges data with these apps without connectors.
Questions, answered.
No. Published schedules are emailed with a link to a personal planning page, where employees see their shifts and can claim open ones if you allow it. Only planners and managers need full users, which keeps licensing down for large site teams.
Yes. We prepare a Ramadan working schedule per company and switch staff to it for the month, then back after Eid. Shift templates and auto plan use the shorter day, and planned hours are measured against it.
Yes. Each shift can carry a project or a sales order line, so a facility management contract with a set number of guards or cleaners per site is planned against what was sold, and gaps show as open shifts.
No. Planning sets who should work and when. Attendances records who actually checked in, and Timesheets records what they worked on. We connect them so planned and actual hours can be compared per employee, site and week.
Yes. An employee asks to switch a shift, colleagues with the same role see the request and one of them takes it. The shift is reassigned in the Gantt, and the supervisor sees the change and its history on the shift.
Plan the week before the phones start ringing.
Tell us how many staff, sites and shift patterns you run, and we will build a sample week in Odoo Planning.
