Odoo for companies in the UAE, set up for VAT, corporate tax, WPS payroll and e-invoicing.
IT Horizon is an Odoo partner in Salmiya, Kuwait, working with companies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates remotely and on site. We implement Odoo 20 Enterprise with the UAE localization for 5% VAT and corporate tax, Payroll with WPS salary files, and the invoice data your company needs for e-invoicing from 2027.
The UAE rules we set up in Odoo.
Odoo has a UAE localization for accounting and payroll. We install it, map your chart of accounts and taxes, and prepare your data for the e-invoicing rules that start in 2027.

Support after go-live
A team in Kuwait, one hour behind UAE time, as your first line of support, with response times written into the agreement.
In the UAE, VAT, corporate tax and e-invoicing all draw on the same accounting records.
In Odoo, a UAE company handles two federal taxes: VAT at 5% and corporate tax at 9% on taxable income above AED 375,000. The VAT return and the corporate tax report are built from the same journal entries, and Odoo ships with no exempt income, allowable deduction or disallowed expense accounts tagged, so we classify them with your tax adviser before the first period closes.
E-invoicing comes next. Under Ministerial Decisions No. 243 and 244 of 2025, invoices will pass through Accredited Service Providers in the PINT AE format, from 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more and from 1 July 2027 for the rest. The e-invoices and their data must be stored in the UAE, which affects where Odoo is hosted. We complete the customer, product and tax data in Odoo and connect it to the provider you appoint.

Common questions
No. We are based in Salmiya, Kuwait, one hour behind UAE time. Workshops, testing and support run remotely, and our consultants travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or your other sites for process walkthroughs, training and cut-over.
Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must issue e-invoices from 1 January 2027, and the rest from 1 July 2027, each through an Accredited Service Provider appointed before that date. We complete the tax, customer and product data in Odoo so each invoice carries the fields the PINT AE format requires, and connect Odoo to your provider.
Yes. The UAE localization includes a corporate tax report with net profit, exempt income, allowable deductions, disallowed expenses and the tax amount, built from your accounts. The return itself is filed on the Federal Tax Authority’s EmaraTax portal using those figures.
Yes. Odoo’s UAE payroll package calculates end-of-service gratuity and its monthly provision, pension contributions for Emirati employees and DEWS for DIFC employers, and exports the WPS salary file for your bank or exchange house. Since 1 June 2026, wages for the previous month are due on the first of each month, so we plan the payroll calendar around that date.
Yes. Ministerial Decision No. 243 of 2025 requires e-invoices and their data to be stored in the UAE, so hosting is settled early in the project. We install Odoo Enterprise on your own servers or with a UAE cloud provider, or use Odoo.sh if that meets your storage obligations.
Plan your Odoo setup before e-invoicing starts in 2027.
