Odoo Subscriptions, renewals billed on schedule.

Odoo Subscriptions turns recurring contracts into scheduled invoices and automatic card charges, and reports MRR, churn and retention without spreadsheets. We implement it for Gulf software, service and membership businesses, including the payment setup each country needs and deferred revenue that auditors accept.

What Odoo Subscriptions does

The standard 20 Enterprise feature set we configure, train on and support.

01

Recurring plans

Plans billed weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, with prices per period set on each product and pricelist, and contracts with a start and end date.

02

Automated billing

Invoices created on each renewal date and charged to the card saved on the first payment, with the invoice emailed to the customer once payment succeeds.

03

Failed payment handling

When a charge fails, Odoo emails the customer to update the payment method and closes the subscription after the number of unpaid days set on the plan.

04

Upsells and renewals

Mid-term upsell quotations prorated to the next invoice date, and renewal quotations with new prices or plans sent before the current term ends.

05

Customer self-service

A portal page per subscription where customers see upcoming invoices, change the saved card and close or renew when the plan allows it.

06

Revenue and churn analytics

MRR and ARR reporting, churn and retention cohorts, and close reasons that show which plans and segments lose customers, with deferred revenue handled in Accounting.

Configured for Kuwait, the GCC and Egypt

The local rules we set up and keep current for Odoo Subscriptions, so the system matches the regulator and the way people here work.

Why an Official Odoo Partner matters
  • Saudi Arabia: ZATCA on renewalsEach renewal invoice in Saudi Arabia is cleared or reported to ZATCA like any other tax invoice, with 15% VAT and its own QR code.
  • Kuwait: KNET and saved cardsKNET does not support saved-card charges, so customers paying by KNET renew through a payment link each period, while Visa and Mastercard cards are charged automatically.
  • UAE, Bahrain and Oman VATEach period invoiced with 5% VAT in the UAE and Oman or 10% in Bahrain, and annual prepaid plans recognized monthly as deferred revenue in Accounting.
  • Bilingual renewal noticesRenewal reminders, invoices and portal pages in Arabic and English, with optional WhatsApp messages through the Business API for customers who prefer it.
ITH Suite

What IT Horizon adds on top of Odoo Subscriptions

Modules and services we built from real Gulf implementations, written to Odoo guidelines so they upgrade with the platform.

KNET, Mada and Tap payment links

Renewal invoices carry a KNET, Mada or Tap payment link sent by email and WhatsApp Business, and the payment is matched to the invoice when the gateway confirms it.

ITH Accounting

A statement of account across subscription invoices and payments, with posting periods closed so a renewal cannot post into a locked month.

ITH Settlement

Reseller and referral commissions on recurring revenue tied to the renewal invoices and settled as bills to the partner each period.

Access control through ITH API

Subscription status exposed through ITH API to your Next.js portal or Flutter app, so access to your service follows payment.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Yes, when the first payment saves a card token through a supported gateway. Each renewal then creates the invoice and charges the card without staff involvement. KNET does not support saved cards, so KNET customers receive a payment link instead.

Add the new product or quantity through an upsell quotation. Odoo prorates the price to the next invoice date and invoices that amount on the upsell, and the higher quantity is billed in full from the following period.

MRR and ARR, with the monthly breakdown into new, expansion, contraction and churn, plus retention cohorts that show how many customers from each start month are still active. Close reasons recorded on each subscription explain why customers leave.

Yes. Invoicing alone books the full amount as income on the invoice date. With Accounting, an annual subscription invoiced upfront is spread across twelve months automatically, which is how auditors expect revenue for service contracts under IFRS 15.

Yes, within the rules of the plan. From the portal they view upcoming invoices, update their card and, if you allow it, close the subscription. Every change is logged on the subscription, so your team sees what the customer did and when.

Bill recurring revenue without chasing each renewal.
