Odoo Accounting, closed on time every month.

A general ledger your auditors accept, bank statements that reconcile themselves, and tax returns that match the regulator. We configure Odoo Accounting for Gulf groups with several companies, several currencies and several tax regimes.

What Odoo Accounting does

The standard 20 Enterprise feature set we configure, train on and support.

01

Chart of accounts and journals

Localized charts for Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt, analytic accounts for cost centers, and journals per bank, cash desk and company.

02

Bank reconciliation

Statement import for Gulf banks, matching rules that learn from your choices, and reconciliation models for fees and FX differences.

03

Tax and VAT reporting

Tax grids per country, VAT returns in the regulator format, withholding where it applies, and audit files with every supporting document attached.

04

Receivables and payables

Payment terms, follow-up levels, batch payments, SEPA-style bank files and vendor bill OCR that cuts data entry.

05

Fixed assets and deferrals

Depreciation boards, disposals, and deferred revenue and expense schedules posted automatically each period.

06

Consolidation and reporting

Group consolidation across companies and currencies, dynamic P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and management packs you can drill into.

Configured for Kuwait, the GCC and Egypt

The local rules we set up and keep current for Odoo Accounting, so the system matches the regulator and the way people here work.

Why an Official Odoo Partner matters
  • Saudi Arabia: ZATCA FatooraPhase 2 e-invoicing with clearance and reporting, QR codes, UUIDs and the XML format ZATCA validates, plus 15% VAT grids.
  • United Arab Emirates5% VAT returns per the FTA format, corporate tax readiness with the right account groupings, and e-invoicing preparation.
  • Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, OmanKuwait has no VAT yet, so the setup focuses on KD three-decimal precision and PIFSS. Bahrain 10% and Oman 5% VAT grids are included.
  • Egypt: ETA e-invoicingIntegration with the Egyptian Tax Authority for e-invoices and e-receipts, EGP as a second functional view, and Arabic document layouts.
ITH Suite

What IT Horizon adds on top of Odoo Accounting

Modules and services we built from real Gulf implementations, written to Odoo guidelines so they upgrade with the platform.

ITH Accounting

SAP FI style document control: posting periods, document types, reversal with reason codes, and a statement of account customers accept.

Treasury and cash reserve

Cash position by bank and company, reserve rules, and payment proposals routed through approval chains.

Material ledger and valuation

Actual costing across warehouses with landed cost allocation, so margins in the ledger match the physical stock.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Yes. Each company gets its own chart, currency, tax grids and fiscal year, and consolidation runs across all of them. Intercompany transactions can be automated so a sale in one company creates the matching purchase in the other.

Yes. Odoo generates the compliant XML, QR code and hash chain and submits invoices for clearance or reporting. We register your devices with ZATCA and test the flow in the sandbox before go-live.

We import the trial balance, open receivables and payables at document level, fixed asset registers and bank balances as of the cut-over date, then reconcile each against the old system before the first close.

Yes. Auditors get a read-only user with access to the general ledger, journals and the attached source documents, and can export the audit trail and the general ledger file.

KWD uses three decimals. We set currency rounding, invoice rounding methods and bank file formats accordingly so totals match the bank to the fils.
