Odoo partner for Qatar

Odoo for companies in Qatar, with WPS payroll, Arabic invoices and accounts in Qatari riyals.

IT Horizon is an Odoo partner in Salmiya, Kuwait, working with companies in Doha and across Qatar remotely and on site. We implement Odoo 20 Enterprise with the Qatar chart of accounts and bilingual invoices, and set up Payroll for the Wage Protection System, end-of-service gratuity and social insurance for Qatari staff.

What we configure for Qatar

The Qatar rules we set up in Odoo.

Odoo has a Qatar accounting localization with bilingual invoices. We install it, configure Payroll from your salary rules, and test both on a copy of your records.

Tax and e-invoicing

The Qatar chart of accounts, invoices without VAT as the law stands today, and customer and product data kept complete for the draft e-invoicing law.

Payroll and WPS

Salary structures in Odoo Payroll, the WPS salary file for your bank, end-of-service gratuity and social insurance for Qatari employees.

Payments and banks

Card payments through a Qatari payment gateway in Point of Sale and online, and bank statements in Qatari riyals reconciled in Accounting.

Arabic and English documents

Invoices and credit notes with Arabic beside English on the same page, bilingual payslips and reports, and right-to-left screens.

Implementation and hosting

Workshops, configuration, data migration and go-live on Odoo 20, hosted on Odoo.sh or on your own servers.

Support after go-live

A team in Kuwait, in the same time zone as Doha, as your first line of support, with response times written into the agreement.

Why it is different in Qatar

In Qatar, most of the local rules sit in payroll and banking.

The General Tax Authority states that Qatar has not applied VAT, so invoices today carry no VAT line. That may change: the Cabinet approved a draft e-invoicing law in May 2026, and no start date has been published. We keep customer tax numbers, product categories and tax settings complete, so a later VAT or e-invoicing project starts from clean data.

Payroll carries the rest. Salaries are paid into employees’ Qatari bank accounts through the Wage Protection System set up by the Ministry of Labour, end-of-service gratuity follows the Labour Law, and Qatari employees are registered for social insurance with the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority. Odoo has no payroll package for Qatar, so we build the salary rules, the gratuity provision and the WPS file in your database and test them on a copy of your data before the first live month.

FAQ

Common questions

No. We are based in Salmiya, Kuwait, in the same time zone as Doha. Workshops, testing and support run remotely, and our consultants travel to your offices in Qatar for process walkthroughs, training and cut-over.

Not today. Qatar has not applied VAT, and the draft e-invoicing law approved by the Cabinet in May 2026 has no published start date. When the rules are issued, we add the taxes and the e-invoicing steps they require to your Odoo.

Yes, with setup work. Odoo Payroll has no ready Qatar package, so we configure salary structures, allowances, end-of-service gratuity and social insurance for Qatari employees, and produce the WPS salary file in the format your bank accepts.

A first phase usually covers Accounting, Sales, Purchase and Inventory, with Point of Sale for shops and Payroll for WPS. Project, Manufacturing, Helpdesk or Website can follow in a second phase.

Kuwait and Qatar share a time zone and a Friday and Saturday weekend, so our team works your hours. A consultant connects to your Odoo remotely, response times are written into the support agreement, and on-site visits are arranged when a problem needs one.

Tell us how you run payroll and invoicing today.

A consultant replies with how Odoo would handle your WPS files, gratuity and invoicing, how long the setup takes and what it costs.
